The conference will convene each day at the Brody Teaching Lab and the Ahmanson Classroom at The Huntington.
Registration and Schedule
Thank you for your interest in this conference, we hope you will join us in November. Registration is limited, so be sure to register early. Due to limited site capacity, and to maximize the number of institutions or affiliations represented at the symposium, we suggest limiting attendance to 3 or fewer people from a single institution/unit.
The conference registration deadline is October 31, 2025.
Registration is free, but attendees must pay in advance for lunch each day. Registration includes:
- all conference sessions held at The Huntington on November 5 and 6
- transportation to and from the three preferred hotels in the mornings and evenings of November 5 and 6. Transportation to an optional dinner location on the evening of November 5.
- coffee and lunch November 5 and 6. Registration does not include a breakfast meal daily.
Cancellation policy: Cancellations prior to October 31, 2025 are subject to a 15 percent cancellation fee. Cancellations after that time are non-refundable.
Virtual option
A limited virtual option will be available, with select lectures live-streamed for remote participants. However, please note tours and hands-on laboratory components are in person and will not be accessible through the virtual option. Select the virtual option on the registration form.
Travel Logistics
Airport
Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is 28-30 miles from the meeting hotels and the Huntington.
Taxi and ride share options (such as Uber or Lyft) might be the most convenient form of transport to San Marino from LAX airport.
For those planning to explore the greater Los Angeles area during their stay, renting a car may be a practical alternative. Free parking is available at the Huntington.

Transportation
A shuttle will transport conference participants to and from the three suggested hotels and The Huntington, twice daily. Free parking is available at The Huntington.
Meals
Coffee and lunch will be provided on November 5 and 6. Breakfast will not be provided. On November 5, a shuttle bus will transport participants to a dinner location (optional); participants are responsible for their own dinner costs.
