Jim Adams has joined the U.S. Botanic Garden as the new Horticulture Manager. Mr. Adams is joining our team from the National Park Service where he was Supervisory Horticulturist at the White House. During his eight years there he oversaw all horticulture for the site and managed the staff that tends the gardens and grounds. Jim is well known in DC horticulture, having previously worked as Head Horticulturist at the British Ambassador’s Residence and as Curator of the National Herb Garden at the U.S. National Arboretum. He is originally from Michigan and a graduate of Michigan State University.
