Pollinator Garden
The USBG Pollinator Garden exhibit content demonstrates how gardens provide vital resources for pollinators. Pollinators, such as birds, bats, and insects, are responsible for almost a third of our food and the continuing function of our ecosystems.
Through a series of colorful and engaging graphics, visitors learn about how pollination works, the special relationships between plants and pollinators, the importance of climate and time of year, habitat protection, and more.
The materials included are:
- One “Big Idea” sign that provides introductory information about pollination and relationships between plants and pollinators.
- Ten “Pollinator Story” signs that delve into the processes and challenges involved in pollination.
- Four “Pollination Partners” signs that describe the relationships between plants and specific animals.
