Collaborating to Conserve North America’s Crop Wild Relatives and Wild Utilized Plants
Denver Botanic Gardens, Denver, Colorado September 17-19, 2024
Thank you for your interest in this symposium, we hope you will join us in September. Registration is limited to 110 attendees, so be sure to register early. Due to limited site capacity, and to maximize the number of institutions or affiliations represented at the symposium, we suggest limiting attendance to 3 or fewer people from a single institution/unit.
The symposium registration deadline is August 31, 2024.
Registration includes:
- all symposium sessions to be held at Denver Botanic Gardens
- transportation to the two off-site events (tours at Chatfield Farms, and field trip to the National Laboratory for Genetic Resources Preservation, NLGRP)
- coffee, lunch, and dinner on Sept. 17 and 18, and coffee and lunch on Sept. 16 and 19
Registration does not include transportation from your lodging to/from the symposium site daily or a breakfast meal daily.
Cancellation policy: Cancellations prior to August 31, 2024 are subject to a 15 percent cancellation fee. Cancellations after that time are non-refundable.
Optional Add-On: Wildland Gathering Day
A Wildland Gathering to celebrate Indigenous wild plant foraging will be convened by the Flower Hill Institute to be held at Chatfield Farms on Sept. 16. The Wildland Gathering will include Tribal representatives from across North America and facilitated discussions will focus on North American Indigenous foragers and gatherers of wildland plants. No additional cost to symposium registrants; however, capacity is limited. You will have the opportunity to add the Wildland Gathering option while completing your registration.
Free Virtual Attendee Option
For those who are not able to attend the symposium in person, a live-streaming option for the symposium is available for free. Registration closes for virtual attendees September 15, 2024. Unfortunately, live-streaming is not available for the Monday, September 16th Wildland Gathering.
