Garden Closed

The United States Botanic Garden (USBG) is temporarily closed to the public to reduce the risk of transmitting COVID-19 coronavirus.

Whenever possible, the USBG will reschedule public programs and events originally scheduled during the closure period. Please monitor the USBG website at www.USBG.gov for updates to operating status. Many resources can still be accessed online, including educational worksheets and manuals, fact sheets and more, and some of our programs will also be made available online.

Plant-Based Curriculum

This exciting new curriculum connects students with the magical world of plants and how they work. This curricula is a comprehensive exploration of plants and their needs and includes interactive classroom videos, teacher resources, an on-site workbook, pre- and post-field trip lessons, and an assessment. Teachers are welcome to use this curriculum independent of a field trip to the U.S. Botanic Garden. However, if considering enhancing the lesson with a field trip, please submit the field trip requestion form. See also: Tips for field trips.
