Join Nancy for this informative and engaging tour of the USBG outdoor gardens. Learn about the history of the National Garden, plants that attract butterflies, native plants of the Mid-Atlantic, and roses that grow well in the Washington environment. Then wander over to Bartholdi Park to explore the history of the fountain and the recent renovations that upgraded the Park's accessibility, safety, and sustainability. Please note: This tour is held outdoors. We suggest bringing sunscreen, protective clothing, and water. The tour is canceled if it rains or during times of extreme heat (heat index of 95 degrees or higher/Code Red weather alert).
