Art Workshop: Painting Roses in Watercolor on Vellum

Roses and vellum were meant to go together. Capturing color and texture of petal and leaf on a warm, translucent surface will yield rich and lifelike rose portraits. Learn drybrush techniques in watercolor on vellum through demonstrations and practice using roses from the USBG's collection. Please note: Registration fee includes a $35 charge for vellum. A materials list can be found here. Doors open at 8:45 a.m. Please bring a lunch.
