Summer Reunion: A Gathering of Plant Families
Conservatory Terrace
May 27 – October 16, 2006

Oh, summertime . . . ’tis the season to vacation, picnic, play outdoors, and bask on the beach. But for many of us, our fondest summer memories are of family reunions – when we can reconnect with close and distant relatives. This summer, indulge your botanical curiosity and relax in our Conservatory Terrace gardens amidst our own twist on family gatherings. We’ve staged a grand reunion for eleven plant families, and you’ll be surprised how many of their far-flung members will show up! The Terrace gardens showcase both the diversity and the shared characteristics among these beautiful and useful plant relatives. And you’re invited to join them!
