The U.S. Botanic Garden invites you to remember that the best things in life are free—the fragrance of a freshly cut fir tree, the magic of holiday lights, the warmth of friends and family, and the delight of a child discovering the make-believe world of model trains. Here is your invitation to stop by, slow down, and “Savor the Season” at the U.S. Botanic Garden. Follow the sound of whistling trains into the West Orangerie, where an enchanted village bustles with activity. Venture into the Garden Court to find our National Mall landmarks crafted from natural plant materials. Throughout the Conservatory, from the Della Robbia-style decorations to the Five Senses Tour, a visit is sure to coax your holiday spirit from its year-long dormancy.
For the holiday season, we will be open until 8:00 p.m. on three Thursdays in December. During each evening, musicians will be in the garden to provide entertainment.
