Topics included conservation genetics, demographics, viability assessment, reintroduction and volunteer programs. The second week focused on developing conservation programs, exploring horticultural techniques, education, interpretation, funding, volunteer conservation programs and opportunities for partnerships. Five interns continued for an additional eight weeks of field work and research.
